Grandeur of the Seas is one of the older ships in Royal Caribbean’s fleet, yet still in operation with modern amenities and maritime classic features. The ship combines nostalgia with updated comfort and offers a more intimate experience than many of the fleet’s largest vessels.
Life on board
On board, you can, among other things, scale the ship’s Rock Climbing Wall, which offers ocean views and an active challenge for adventurers. The ship features several pools – both standard pools and whirlpools – as well as an adults‑only area (Solarium) for those seeking peace and relaxation. On the promenade deck and in the Centrum, you’ll find shops, cafés, and lounges where you can stroll or take a break. The entertainment comes to life in the ship’s theater (The Palladium), where you can enjoy shows and music. Daily activities such as quizzes and games are held in the Centrum and bars, and the evenings may feature live music and social events. Additionally, you can immerse yourself in wellness at the spa, which offers beauty treatments and massage, or make use of the modern fitness center with sea views for exercise and movement.
Culinary experiences
The ship’s included restaurants (buffet and main dining room) serve daily meals focusing on variety and quality. Onboard there are also specialty restaurants (for an extra charge), where you can choose to indulge in extra culinary experiences.
Cabins and suites
Grandeur of the Seas offers several types of cabins and suites with varying levels of comfort and size. No matter which category you choose – interior, ocean view, balcony, or suite – you can expect a pleasant stay with a focus on comfort and tranquility.
