About the ship

Mardi Gras is one of the fleet's newer ships - it was launched in 2020 and is among the largest, seating 5,200 passengers. The ship is richly equipped with amenities and the entertainment is top notch. Mardi Gras is the first ship in the Carnival fleet to run on the environmentally friendly fuel LNG (Liquefied natural gas).

Life on board

Mardi Gras offers a wealth of amenities ranging from pure relaxation to high pulse. Highlights include a spectacular water park and the world's first and fastest moving sea ride. Mardi Gras has four swimming pools and five hot tubs, so there's plenty of opportunity to cool off when the sun is high in the sky. Afterwards, you can curl up in the shade of a parasol on a cushioned lounger with a good book or cool drink. The new cruise ship will impress even the most travel-savvy at first sight. The ship's innovative amenities are a delight to guests who will find it almost impossible to get to everything.

On board Mardi Gras, there is plenty of opportunity for a shot of adrenaline in the innovative Skyride, where you "cycle" high above the deck, with sea views as far as the eye can see - a fun and different experience. The ship has everything you could wish for in a modern cruise ship. On board you will find several bars and lounges where you can enjoy yourself and toast new acquaintances. The ship also offers duty-free shops with branded goods, a waterslide, luxurious wellness and a sports court with the possibility to play basketball and volleyball. The evening is all about entertainment with live bands and great Broadway-inspired performances in the Seaside Theatre.

Taste experiences

The ship offers a delicious, varied selection of fresh cuisine in each restaurant. Mardi Gras offers two different a la carte restaurants, Guy's Burger Joint and a delicious Burrito Bar, which are included in the price. There are also plenty of opportunities to dine on delicious dishes at one of the speciality restaurants Bonsai Sushi, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse and Jiji Asian Kitchen, for an additional charge.

All cabins and suites are beautifully appointed with comfortable interiors. This means that all guests can look forward to a stay in beautiful surroundings, whatever their travel style. Whether travelling alone, as a couple, with family or friends, you'll find the cabin or suite to suit you on board Mardi Gras. All cabins and suites are at least equipped with TV, bath, safety box, work desk, hairdryer, internet (for a fee) and more.
