Specialist Cruise Consultant 

We’re looking for a new member of the team with drive, enthusiasm, and a passion for travel. 

As a Specialist Cruise Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring each customer's journey is seamless, from their first contact right through to booking their next cruise holiday.  

Using your extensive travel knowledge and understanding of different cruise lines, you will provide advice to maximize the customer's holiday experience.  

You will be part of a friendly and positive team, working in a fast-paced, team target-based environment with an emphasis on delivering high levels of conversion, margin, and customer satisfaction scores. 

About MyCruise UK 
MyCruise has been established in Denmark for 15 years with a head office in Copenhagen, also having offices based in Sweeden and Norway. MyCruise UK is the most recent addition to the MyCruise family and operate as a specialist cruise travel agency out of our UK office based in central Southampton. 
 
We offer clients the ability to book their next cruise holiday via traditional methods such as phone, email and chat we also have an advanced tech offering allowing clients to book online for cruise only products but also using our dynamic packaging tool to book a package with flights, hotels and cruise together.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensuring all customer contact, such as emails, webchats, and calls are handled quickly, efficiently, and met with a high service standard. 
  • Use your expertise to maximize sales through the selling of cruise holidays, ancillaries, and spot opportunities to upsell. 
  • Effectively resolve customer complaints where needed. 
  • Build lasting relationships with customers to build repeat customs.  
  • Be accountable for meeting and exceeding team sales targets and KPIs. 
  • Listen to the customer to quickly identify their needs and make sound recommendations. 
  • Be self-driven for learning as a way of improving product knowledge. 
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and participate in educational trips. 
  • Undertake any other duties or responsibilities allocated to you by your line Manager/Company’s Senior team. 

Skills and Experience 

  • Experience in a travel sales environment 
  • Proven track record in hitting sales targets. 
  • In-depth understanding of sales processes and procedures. 
  • Knowledge and experience in the cruise industry.  
  • Good Standard of IT skills including but not limited to Word, Outlook, Excel, GDocs 
  • Fluency in English and additional languages would be a plus.
