Ecuador - Galapagos - Isla Champion

North of Isla Floreana, you'll find the small and uninhabited Isla Champion, named after the whaler Andrew Champion. This island stands out as one of the prime locations to witness the stunning marine wildlife of the Galapagos. It is home to a variety of animals, including flamingos, penguins, seals, and many others, allowing you to experience the wild and untamed nature up close. Isla Champion, along with Isla Gardner, is also one of the last remaining spots in the Galapagos where you can encounter the endangered Floreana Mockingbird, also known as the Charles Mockingbird.

Climate
The Galápagos Islands, situated on the equator, are a year-round destination. They experience two primary seasons. The warmest period spans from December to May, characterized by abundant sunshine and clear skies. The slightly cooler season falls between June and November, marked by southerly winds that usher in the Humboldt Current, bringing cooler seawater to the region.
