Havana, the vibrant capital of Cuba, is a city steeped in history, culture, and charm. Nestled along the northern coast of the island, Havana boasts a population of over two million people and offers an eclectic mix of architectural styles, from colonial to modernist, that tell the story of its rich past.

With its captivating history, lively music scene, and welcoming people, Havana is a destination that offers a unique blend of experiences that will leave a lasting impression on any traveler.

Worth Seeing
One of the most iconic spots in Havana is the Malecón, a picturesque seaside boulevard where locals and visitors alike gather to enjoy the sea breeze, music, and lively conversations. Along the Malecón, you'll find the historic Hotel Nacional de Cuba, which has hosted numerous celebrities and world leaders over the years.

Havana's historic heart, Old Havana (Habana Vieja), is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a stroll through its narrow cobblestone streets will transport you back in time. Here, you can explore historic squares like Plaza de la Catedral and Plaza Vieja, each with its own unique character.

The Capitolio Nacional, an imposing neoclassical building, is another must-see. It was once the seat of the Cuban government and is now home to the Cuban Academy of Sciences.

For a taste of Havana's artistic side, visit the Fábrica de Arte Cubano, a trendy art space housed in a former cooking oil factory. It features galleries, music venues, and more, providing a glimpse into Cuba's contemporary cultural scene.

Climate
Havana enjoys a tropical climate with distinct wet and dry seasons. The dry season, from November to April, offers pleasant temperatures ranging from 20 to 30 degrees Celsius (68 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit). This is the ideal time to explore the city's streets and attractions. The wet season, from May to October, sees higher temperatures and occasional afternoon rain showers, which can provide relief from the heat.
