The city is known for its striking architecture, well-maintained urban spaces, and its great cultural diversity, which is reflected in both the city’s appearance and daily life. Singapore appears both futuristic and traditional. The city contains a number of historic districts, especially Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Glam, which provide insight into Singapore’s cultural and religious diversity. At the same time, the city is characterized by modern landmarks and a lively harbor area around Marina Bay. The day offers the opportunity to experience the city’s skyline, take a leisurely walk along the waterfront, or enjoy the local cuisine at one of the many eateries.

Day 3 – Singapore | Sentosa

The day offers further experiences in Singapore and the opportunity to explore new sides of the city-state. Singapore is known for its ability to combine urban life with green areas and recreational oases, making the day suitable for both sightseeing and relaxation. There is an option to visit Sentosa Island, located just off Singapore’s coast and easily accessible by cable car or monorail. The island features inviting sandy beaches, green surroundings, and several attractions as well as views of the harbor area. Alternatively, the day can be spent in the city with visits to parks, museums, or café areas, where Singapore’s diverse daily life can be experienced up close. Overnight stay at a hotel in Singapore.

Day 4 – Singapore | Embarkation
The day offers the opportunity to continue exploring Singapore before the cruise begins. In just a few decades, the city has developed from a former British trading post into one of Asia’s most modern and well-organized cities. There is an opportunity to experience the historic Raffles Hotel, which has been an icon of the city since the late 1800s, visit Gardens by the Bay with its distinctive greenhouses and Supertrees, explore the shopping areas, or enjoy the atmosphere along the waterfront. Later in the day, you board the Celebrity Solstice, where the crew welcomes you. In the evening, the ship departs Singapore and sets course for Thailand.

Day 5 – At Sea
The cruise is truly underway, and the day at sea offers an opportunity to settle in on the Celebrity Solstice. It is a good day to explore the ship and get to know the facilities at a relaxed pace. Onboard, there is the opportunity to visit various common areas, take a leisurely walk on the decks, or enjoy the sea view from one of the lounges. The day can also be spent on light activities, a visit to the spa area, or simply relaxing and enjoying the comfortable atmosphere onboard.

Day 6 – Tropical Koh Samui | Temples and Beaches
The ship arrives early in the morning at Koh Samui, one of Thailand’s most popular islands, known for its palm-lined beaches, lush nature, and relaxed atmosphere. The island offers a combination of nature experiences, culture, and local everyday life. There is the option to take an excursion around the island and see sights such as the Big Buddha Temple, Na Muang Waterfalls, and local markets with fruit, spices, and handicrafts. Alternatively, the day can be spent at one of the island’s beaches, such as Chaweng or Lamai, or relaxing at cafés and small restaurants along the coast. In the late afternoon, the ship departs Koh Samui and the cruise continues.

Day 7 – Laem Chabang (Bangkok), Thailand
Arrival in Laem Chabang offers the opportunity for excursions to Bangkok, Thailand’s capital and the country’s cultural and political center for centuries. The city was founded in the late 1700s and has since developed into one of Southeast Asia’s largest and most vibrant cities. Bangkok is known for its temples, palaces, and its varied cityscape, where historic buildings and modern city life exist side by side. In Bangkok, you can visit the magnificent Grand Palace, which served as a royal residence for many years and remains one of the city’s most important landmarks, as well as experience temples such as Wat Pho and Wat Arun. A boat trip on the Chao Phraya River offers a glimpse of life along the water, where temples, homes, and markets are closely packed. Alternatively, time can be spent exploring local markets and city streets, providing a lively insight into everyday life in Bangkok. The day offers a varied encounter with Thai culture, history, and present-day life. The ship remains docked overnight.

Day 8 – Laem Chabang (Bangkok), Thailand
Another day in the area offers more experiences. From the port, you can go on an excursion to nearby Pattaya, located along the coast south of Laem Chabang, offering both beautiful beaches and exciting cultural sights. Here, you can visit The Sanctuary of Truth, an impressive temple-like wooden structure richly decorated with hand-carved figures symbolizing philosophy, religion, and Thai cultural heritage. The building is still under construction using traditional craftsmanship and provides a unique insight into classical Thai art and architecture. The excursion may also include a visit to a large golden Buddha statue, which serves as a religious gathering point and also offers views of the coast and surrounding landscape. In the late afternoon, the ship sets course for Vietnam.

Day 10 – Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam
Arrival at Phu My, located about a two-hour drive from Vietnam’s largest city, Ho Chi Minh City. Formerly known as Saigon, the city has been the country’s economic center for decades. Today, Ho Chi Minh City appears as a dynamic metropolis where wide boulevards, colonial-era buildings, and modern skyscrapers together frame daily life. On an excursion to Ho Chi Minh City, there is the opportunity to experience major attractions such as the Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic post office, both dating from the French colonial period, or visit the Reunification Palace, which played a crucial role in the end of the Vietnam War. The city’s museums, including the War Remnants Museum, provide insight into the country’s modern history, while the lively markets and streets show a city in constant motion. There is the opportunity to go on an excursion to the well-preserved trading town of Hoi An, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and known for its old merchant houses, temples, and atmospheric streets. Alternatively, the day can be spent in Da Nang with visits to the Marble Mountains or along the city’s beachfront promenade. Early arrival in Hong Kong marks the end of the cruise. The ship is disembarked, but there is still time for final experiences in Hong Kong before returning home. Over the past 150 years, the city has developed from a small fishing port into one of Asia’s most important trade and financial centers. Its long period as a British colony has left its mark on the city’s development and contributed to the unique blend of Chinese culture and international metropolis that characterizes Hong Kong today.
Hong Kong is known for its impressive skyline and bustling harbor, considered one of the world’s busiest. There is an opportunity to experience the city from the water on a traditional sampan boat tour, offering a different perspective on harbor life and the contrast between old traditions and modern city. It is also possible to take the historic Peak Tram to Victoria Peak, which offers a magnificent view of the skyline, harbor, and surrounding islands.
