According to local legend, the area was created by a dragon descending from the sky and shaping the bay with its tail – a story that remains part of the area’s cultural heritage.
The day offers the option for an excursion to Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, which boasts over a thousand years of history and has played a major role in the country's cultural and political development.
