Philadelphia also features historic areas such as Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited residential street in the United States with houses dating back to the 1700s, as well as modern neighbourhoods, parks and museums. Fairmount Park offers green oases, while Benjamin Franklin Parkway is home to many cultural institutions such as the Rodin Museum and The Franklin Institute.

Norwegian Jewel was launched in 2005, but looks modern after the ship's extensive makeover in 2018. Onboard the ship you'll find numerous bars and lounges, inviting restaurants and a wide range of activities and facilities.
Life on board
Norwegian Jewel is home to a wealth of fantastic facilities that are especially appealing to families. The ship offers several swimming pools, including a child-friendly one. You can also relax in one of the heated jacuzzis and enjoy a treatment in the luxurious spa area as the icing on the cake.
Out on deck you can play tennis, basketball and volleyball. You can also go for a run on the running track that encircles the deck all the way round. Afterwards you can enjoy a cool drink and relax in one of the cosy lounges. Norwegian Jewel offers a diverse range of fun activities for children and young people of all ages. In the evening, enjoy spectacular Broadway-inspired shows, play roulette in the ship's huge casino or dance the night away at the ship's disco.
