Island Princess

Island Princess belongs together with her sister ship Coral Princess, in the Coral class. Island Princess was launched in 2003, but has since undergone several renovations, including in December 2017. The ship is suitable for cruise travelers of all age groups. The ship accommodates 2200 guests, who are received and attended to by approximately 900 service-minded crew members. Island Princess has received the Best Service Award.

Life on board

The activities and entertainment on board Island Princess are top notch. Take a refreshing swim in one of the lovely freshwater pools, dream away under the shade of a parasol or enjoy a break in one of the five whirlpools. Active passengers can enjoy an outdoor sports court for a game of basketball and/or volleyball. There's even an inviting mini-golf course where you can hit the golf ball in nine holes under the open sky. If you can't get enough of sporting activities, you can go for a brisk run on the running track located on the upper deck of the ship. On deck six, you'll find a modern fitness and aerobics room where you can get your heart rate up with sea views as far as the eye can see. Afterwards, relax with a well-deserved massage in the large, elegant wellness area on deck 14. Island Princess also has a delightful shopping area where you can buy branded goods at reasonable prices. Here you can also enjoy a good quality coffee and meet new acquaintances in the cozy café, La Patisserie. Like the activities, the entertainment is top-notch. In the evenings, you can indulge in great performances and live music. It's also in the evening, when darkness falls, that you can settle in with warm popcorn and a fleece blanket as the outdoor cinema shows the latest films and major sporting events - a cozy and different experience. Princess Cruises' MedallionClass concept involves an innovative wristband that can be easily worn when boarding the ship. The bracelet can be used to order drinks, locate family members, unlock the cabin and more. These are just a few of the options available on Island Princess, which offers everything between heaven and sea.

Taste experiences

Island Princess has many different restaurants that draw inspiration from many parts of the world. Included in the price, you can enjoy dishes from several different restaurants. From delicious, varied dishes in the a la carte restaurant to flavorsome pizzas in the Princess Pizzeria. There is also the option to dine in various specialty restaurants, for an additional charge. Each specialty restaurant serves wonderful cuisine and always delivers exceptional service.
