About the ship

Norwegian Joy was launched in 2017 and underwent a major refurbishment in early 2024. As part of Norwegian Cruise Line’s Breakaway Plus class, this modern cruise ship offers a combination of luxury, innovation, and world-class entertainment.

Life on Board
Following its 2024 renovation, Norwegian Joy offers an enhanced spa experience with a brand-new Thermal Suite – the largest in the Breakaway Plus class. This adults-only oasis features elegant sculptures and waterfalls that create a soothing atmosphere.

For thrill-seekers, the ship features the unique Norwegian Joy Speedway – a two-level electric go-kart track where guests can race against one another with the ocean as a backdrop. There’s also an Aqua Park with waterslides, a mini golf course, and world-class entertainment.

The ship has expanded its Vibe Beach Club, an exclusive adults-only area with additional seating and private cabanas, providing a relaxing retreat.

Norwegian Joy offers a wide selection of dining venues, ranging from main restaurants with diverse menus to specialty restaurants serving everything from Japanese and Italian to American cuisine.
