Norwegian Epic, launched in 2010, underwent a comprehensive refurbishment in spring 2025. The ship now offers upgraded facilities and new experiences that blend the best of modern cruising with classic charm, making it once again sleek, stylish, and ready for adventure on the high seas.
Life on Board
Onboard Norwegian Epic, there’s something for everyone – whether you're looking for excitement or relaxation. After the renovation, families will enjoy the new Kids’ Aqua Park – a colorful and fun water area with fountains and small slides that replaced the former SplashGolf zone. Adult guests can retreat to the expanded Vibe Beach Club, now featuring more loungers, new cabanas, and improved facilities for peaceful relaxation.
The ship still offers a wide range of activities and entertainment. Challenge yourself on the climbing wall, play basketball, go bowling, or visit the fitness center. As night falls, guests can enjoy vibrant bars and lounges, live performances, and big stage shows.
Culinary Experiences
Dining on Norwegian Epic has also been elevated. Post-renovation, guests can enjoy even more options – whether they prefer buffets or fine dining. The ship features over 10 restaurants, including three à la carte venues, a buffet, and the popular O’Sheehan’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill, open 24/7. Guests can also savor flavors from around the world at the ship’s specialty restaurants, offering French bistro classics, American steaks, and exotic Asian cuisine.
The Haven
For a more exclusive and private holiday experience, The Haven is the perfect choice. This ship-within-a-ship concept features luxurious suites, a private restaurant, bar, lounge, and a sun deck with a pool. Haven guests enjoy butler and concierge service, priority access to restaurants and shows, and first-class amenities in the suite.
Solo Cabins
Norwegian Epic was the first cruise ship designed specifically with solo travelers in mind – and the concept is thriving. If you're traveling alone, you can book one of the stylish Studio cabins and gain access to the Studio Lounge – a shared space for solo guests to enjoy a drink and meet like-minded travelers.
