South Korea - Jeju

Jeju Island, located just off the southern coast of the Korean peninsula, is a picturesque and idyllic destination reminiscent of Hawaii. Dominated by the volcanic Halla Mountain, the island features stunning waterfalls, sandy beaches, lava formations, and citrus groves.

Worth seeing
Haenyeo Divers: Jeju is renowned for its remarkable female divers, known as "haenyeo," who harvest seaweed and shellfish without oxygen bottles. Look for "haenyeo" on the menu for dishes featuring shellfish caught by these women.
Cheonjaeyeon Waterfall: A breathtaking sight with water falling from a 22-meter-high cliff surrounded by a lush forest. Legend has it that seven nymphs descended from the sky to bathe in the waterfall's pool at midnight.
Loveland: An eccentric and internationally renowned sculpture park with over 140 sculptures, many of which are humorously sexual in nature. Not recommended for children.

Climate
Jeju Island experiences a climate on the boundary between temperate and subtropical. The beach season, with temperatures ranging from 26-30 degrees, runs from July to September. Winters are short and mild.
